  1. Nice question. However, it needs some clarification. For instance, in alternative (B), it is not clear what a network with fitness is. Assuming it is a net work that follows the Bianconi-Barabasi model, which involves fitness, the answer depends on the fitness probability distribution. It may also be an additive fitness, mentioned in one of the exercises. In (C), it is not clear what kind of node removal we are talking about. In (A) and (D) there are ambiguities also, but the statements are clearly false, because the conclusion is very strong ('always' follows a pure power law, etc.)
